bio stuff
Alex is an LA-based, Chicago-born EP, who turns chaos into finished work and existential dread into spreadsheets. She has made a career out of figuring out things that probably shouldn’t be possible, which has led her to her current position of Executive Producer at Omnicom Productions. Her clients sell two of the best things in the world: pancakes and video games. She manages all things production and production scope for them, while simultaneously managing a wonderful team of hardworking producers who love to make stuff as much as Alex does. During her career journey of making stuff, she has collected an impressive assortment of industry accolades and internal agency honors.
Alex is ruthlessly efficient by nature and has very little patience for poor production processes and unnecessary meetings. She does, however, have gobs of patience for mentoring the next generation of producers. She has strong opinions about the importance of taking the time to teach (always), as well as the importance of knowing when to panic (rarely). Alex serves on her company’s educator panel, developing training on communication, professional development, and preventing burnout. She loves this part of her job because she believes in her bones that everything is figure-out-able, that great work doesn’t require unnecessary suffering, and that being kind and being good at your job are not mutually exclusive. So that’s what she teaches.
Her cat, Steve, contributes nothing but insists on being credited.
